The Conservation Lands Review Committee is a subcommittee of the Tamworth Conservation Commission, a municipal agency of the Town of Tamworth, New Hampshire. The purpose of the committee is to:
 inventory conservation values
 review current conservation lands
 propose future land conservation directions and policy
 develop a public outreach initiative

Conservation value: Any value of the natural landscape worthy of special protection. Values may be physical resources (aquifers, biotic communities, agricultural soils, etc.), or perceptual (scenic beauty, rural character, etc.).
Conservation Land: Land in which conservation values are given special protection. This protection is usually accomplished through fee-simple ownership (a governmental agency or private organization whose mission includes conservation owns the land) or a conservation easement (the landowner relinquishes certain property rights to the agency or organization).
